Historic Donation to Dragon Teachers!

BIG NEWS for Dragon Nation! Last night, the Carroll Education Foundation proudly presented a check for $971,763.96 to CISD to directly fund ALL Classroom Teachers! 💚🐉⁠

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Dragon community, we’re thrilled to recognize and reward the passion and dedication our teachers bring to their classrooms every single day. Here’s how we’ve supported Dragon teachers this year:⁠

🎁 End-of-the-Year Teacher Appreciation Gifts⁠: $1,800 for full-time classroom teachers, including Librarians, Reading Specialists, ESL, and SPED. ⁠$900 for part-time teachers⁠ and pro-rated amounts for teachers hired mid-year⁠
🏆 Teacher of the Year Gifts⁠: $1,000 to each CISD Campus Teacher of the Year⁠ and $5,000 to each District Teacher of the Year⁠
🎓 Teacher Scholarships⁠: $12,000 awarded to nine outstanding CISD teachers and instructional paraprofessionals⁠
🎉 Surprise & Delights⁠: Teachers and paraprofessionals across the district received gift cards, lunches, and treats throughout the year!⁠

In total, CEF has invested $1,056,986 directly into Dragon Teachers. The largest one-year investment in our 30-year history! ⁠
