Laura Bean/Greater
Southlake Women’s Society Scholarship – As
a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Club,
this young lady worked two jobs and volunteered over 350 hours for
various charity groups
while maintaining a 97.3 grade point average. She received
the Community Service Award and Team Spirit Award. Laura plans on majoring
in education
at the University of Texas in Austin and become an elementary
teacher. She is the daughter of Richard and Diane Bean.

Ashley Lacativo/Fidelity Investments Scholarship -
Ashley is a member of the National Honor Society, the Green Jackets,
Fellowship of Christian
Athletes, and a member of the Dragon Softball Team. She received
the Community Service Award for her volunteering efforts at her church,
camps
and charities. Ashley plans on attending Texas A & M University studying
interdisciplinary studies and bilingual education. She is the daughter
of Bert & Shellie
Lacativo.

Casey Phillips/Park Place Lexus Scholarship – As
a participant in numerous clubs and organizations such
as the National Honor Society,
Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Charity League,
The Green Jackets, Circle of Friends and the Crew Spirit
Team, Casey also excelled
as a member of the Varsity Dragon Basketball Team. Casey
was chosen to receive an internship with the Dallas Mavericks
and with Fox Sports Television.
She is the daughter of Rick and Jackie Phillips. Casey plans
on attending the University of Missouri to study broadcast
journalism.

Lauren Schneider/Deep
South Scholarship – Lauren is a member of
the National Honor Society, UIL Academic Team, Academic Decathlon Team,
and a National Merit Finalist. She was the winner of Oprah’s National
High School Essay Contest. She is the class of 2006’s Valedictorian
with an outstanding grade point average of 104.167. Lauren volunteered
her time with GRACE, Habitat for Humanity and worked on mission trips
through her church. She is the daughter of Chuck & Kay
Schneider.

Alison Schwartzstein/Chick-Fil-A
Scholarship – Alison is a member
of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian
Athletes and the Lady Dragon Golf Team. She has volunteered over 350
hours throughout the community in organizations such as Special Olympics,
Summer Santa, GRACE and Habitat for Humanity. Alison excelled in honors
classes with a grade point average of 96.4. She is the daughter of Mr.& Mrs.
Martin Schwartzstein.

Andrew Zapatka/Smith
Barney Scholarship – Andrew is a member of
the Dragon Tennis and LaCross Team, a member of the Carroll Marching
Band, National Honor Society, AP Scholar. He was selected to the Quest
Leadership Program. Andrew plans on attending the University of Missouri
studying industrial engineering and plans on pursuing the MBA program.
He is the son of Daniel & Christine
Zapatka.

Kay/The Thompson Group Scholarship – Victoria is active
in the Carroll Marching Band as the Flute Section Leader. She is also
a member of the National Honor Society, Recycling Club and has worked
with disable children at Rocky Top Ranch. She plans on attending the
University of Oklahoma and study premed. She is the daughter of Robert & Deborah
Kay. |

Lacrosse team. She volunteers her time through mission trips at her
church, Habitat for Humanity, and Younglife. Lauren plans on attending
the University of Kansas and study cognitive studies. She is the daughter
of David & Karen
