Academic competitions are beneficial on many levels! They provide challenges and learning opportunities for our students, as well as many of the same benefits that athletic competitions provide. Many academic competitions such as Robotics, Computer Science, and other UIL competitions, require laptops in order for students to compete, and student laptops are not currently part of our technology plan at CISD. We have very dedicated students that practice all year, and teachers that work hard to provide opportunities for students to compete, but it’s not possible to participate without laptops! Thank you, CEF, for supplying two student laptop computers for academic competitions! Your generous support will directly provide challenging and exciting opportunities for many of our students!
