The funding for "Got Books" has afforded the DES kindergarten team with the
opportunity to purchase leveled reading books for our students. Our
students use the leveled books each day during reading workshop and take
them home each night to practice reading with their families. The leveled
books allow our students to practice reading a variety "just right" books -
books that are neither too hard nor too easy for their individual reading
levels.
