E-Books for E-Kids involves a subscription to Scholastic’s Bookflix program. It is an electronic program, accessed through the internet, that pairs fiction and non-fiction books that are about the same subject. Students can use the program at school or from their home computers. Scholastic pairs Weston Woods video clips for the fictional material with their e-books for the non-fiction. The program involves reading the books, giving definitions or further information where needed, and fun activities for the students to do.
