The internet is quickly becoming an oasis of information that can make an immediate impact on the science classroom instruction. Without an adequate viewing device (projector), this plethora of information cannot be utilized to its fullest extent. Demonstrations, CBL (computer based labs from a CEF grant last year) with data projected as the actual lab is occurring, actual flex-cam labs (using flex-cams from a previous CEF grant), and power-point presentations designed by students and teachers are all critical parts of science classroom instructions. The projectors will be utilized by every student (over 1300) of Carroll High School as they will be placed in the science department on a permanent basis. They will be used on a daily basis to enhance instruction in the science classrooms during labs, internet usage, videos, power-points, etc.
