Through storytelling and thematic units children will be able to develop concepts as setting, sequencing, themes, comparisons, and following single to multi-step directions as well as, cognitive enhancement of logical thinking for social interaction and turn-taking skills. The children will be able to practice and increase their ability to solve problems using language to communicate, convey, and interpret meanings encountered in everday situations in a more natural learning setting. These items will allow children not only with language disorders/delays but also those with articulation, voice, and fluency delays/disorders to practice their objectives in a setting more conducive to learning.
