Author/Teacher: A Pathway to Writing Success/Carolyn Gibbons with Old Union Elementary School
This grant will provide a pathyway to learning for three additional teachers as they participate in "Write from the Beginning" training that will develop each of their talents as trainers of other teachers at Old Union Elementary School. This generous grant provides funds that enables teachers to establish a common focus and shared accountability for student writing performance. Teachers will be able to better instruct students according to their individual levels of writing achievement, to identify areas of strengths and areas which may need improvement and ultimately develop a plan for meeting each student's needs.
