Endowment - Investing in Education

For more than ten years, Carroll Education Foundation (CEF) has actively supported Carroll Independent School District (CISD). CEF is an organization formed by a small group of concerned Southlake community leaders in the hopes of supporting and improving the educational programs of CISD district wide. Through more than ten years of successful fundraising and planning, CEF's mission "to generate and distribute resources for the benefit of the children" is still a driving force for the Board of Directors.

Through general donations, planned giving, membership drives and fundraisers, the CEF has accumulated more than $1 million in its endowment fund. This insures continued ability to provide these valuable educational resources to serve as a safeguard for the future of Carroll Independent Schools district wide. CEF looks for opportunities to involve the community in assuring a quality education for the leaders and workers of tomorrow.

Operating with the belief that there is a strong correlation between the quality of life in the community and the quality of its eduational system, CEF strives to support the backbone of that system - the public schools.
